The BiLLe/Celeb Charity Challenge video with Misha & I :D

(via destielbiteme)

Hello, I am your friendly random local hospice volunteer.

I am making a collage for someone I go and visit. The collage will have lots of things from the person’s life that have been important to the person, including things they love and places they have lived.

So, I pack up off to the local used book store

and down in the slightly creepy basement I find many old National Geographics

these are cool because you can find pictures of places the way they looked when the person the collage is for actually lived there.

Now for the carnage.

SLICE THE PICTURES NOT THE FINGERS

Ahhh, lovely.

What? You think this picture is edited? It must have been the small gnome in the center. He’s very private. (Privacy Gnome thanks you for your patience.)

Watching Misha’s panel from yesterday, and have already seen two examples of fandom love - someone bought a ticket for Misha’s cruise for someone else (who asked Misha to thank the buyer at his panel) and another person handed forward a photo op for a girl Misha brought on stage. I also saw several examples of this in person at DallasCon (including lovely Alexis sharing one of her Jared ops with me).

My question is why isn’t fandom like this on tumblr/twitter? Why is there so much fighting/ship wars/actor hating when we’re capable of so much love?

Just some thinky thoughts for a Sunday afternoon.

She was sitting next to me. She was there with her daughter. She didn’t end up going to the gold events because she gave her gold pass away to another really nice girl who had lost her job and didn’t have any extra cash (she’d paid for the con when she still had a job). That girl also ended up on the cruise, curtsey of my seat-neighbor to the left. So did the girls behind us. By the end of the con we were all joking that half the people on that cruise would be there because she bought them a ticket.

I got her e-mail address. As you’d expect, she’s a lovely person. I wish I could submit someone else for a SAARA award, she deserves it.

Upon Misha winning the Celeb Challenge, Random Acts has actually won 25,000 not €10,000!

misha-collins:

Ahhhhhhhhh!!!! So happy right now.

I’m just so happy about this

fact: If everyone looked at Misha’s smile 5 minutes a day it would guarantee world peace.

okay this is totally off topic, but can I just mention how much I totally covet Misha’s Random Acts hat? I’ve seen him wear other ones too, a little different, and I am always overcome with longing. I have very long hair, and I so wish that I could have one of these hats be my new favorite hat, that I could tuck my ponytail into when I go out to walk the dogs or do yardwork in the sun. It is a beautiful hat, and I can’t find the damn thing for sale anywhere.
